Freedom In Multitudes
A plural STH Zine
Freedom in Multitudes is a free, digital zine focused on plurality within the Sonic franchise—both canon and fanon. Inspired by other zines about marginalized identities, we want to bring people together to celebrate an often overlooked and demonized part of life.In fiction, plurality is often portrayed as something scary and dangerous, completely ignoring the lived experiences of many people and the negative effect these stereotypes can have. The IDW comic's Soleil and Lunar are a pleasant deviation from this unfortunate standard, and are what motivated the creation of this zine, alongside the many plural fans of Sonic the Hedgehog who carved out their own spaces. We want this zine to be a space where everyone—systems and non-systems alike—can come together to explore their headcanons as well as canonical plurality in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe.To learn more and apply, check out our Info Doc!
